Prompt for Response:
How old will you be in 50 years? What do you think your family will be like? Will you have kids? Grandkids? Where will you be living? What will be the source of your drinking water? What will water supplies look like, in your opinion? What can you do over the next 50 years to improve the availability of water by conserving the water resources you use now? (See my response as an example.)
Blue Gold: World Water Wars Response
After viewing the documentary Blue Gold, respond to the following prompt. The privatization of water resources is a controversial subject, while the intent is for the consumer to benefit from companies taking over water supplies, the fear is that this will drive up the cost of water, and make it less available for those not able to afford water. The documentary states that in 50 years, water wars will be occurring.

In 50 years I plan to be living in the state of Colorado (again). I will be 78 years old. By that time I will have a few kids with kids of their own. Living in the west part of the United States, water will be a MAJOR part of my life as it is extremely dry there. This past July we received twice the amount of rain that Colorado receives in the whole year!
In order to conserve water I want to invent a system that recycles rain water from your gutters and uses this to flush your toilet. It doesn't make sense to me that some countries don't have clean water to drink where we have clean water to go to the bathroom in!
50 years from now I will be 67. I think by then I would have grandchildren(maybe...). I would live in Vermont or Washington state. I hope that the drinking water source would be a well or something to that effect. I think the water would be scarce or littled down and would not really effect me but would definetly effect my kids and grandkids. I think by then i would own a farm so I would do as my uncle, grandfather and so on did before me giving the animals rain water is fine... I would also live where there is moist ground so i don't have to water my lawn or any of that. (don't take angerly mr. M.)
In 50 years i will be 67 almost 68... I hope a happy and healthy one. Hopefully i will have at least 2 kids and 4 to 6 grandchildren... Hopefully In florida, or in North Cariliena, or in Germany. I well bet water that comes from a bottle and that has been flittered a million times. Nothing from the tap. brownish i guess i dont really know.. I can stop wasting so much drinking water... stop throughing garbage out into the enviroment. and stop polluting the water in lakes and oceans and rivers.
After 50 years,i will be 66.I think i live in littleton NH, with my parents and my husband... and maybe i have grandchildren too...i hope so cause i think littleton NH is the best state for enjoying rest of life. and i think we will have retreat water machine each house. so every monday or every sunday we'll go river or sea for getting water . if raining day, we'll correct rain!!
and if water is running over 3 minutes , automatically ringing the bell , and if over 10 minutes , they will pay fine.
In 50 years iwill be 68..almost 69. I will be retiring from a long happy life of music, and iwill have atleast 2 kids (both adopted). I will be living in california, or south west england. The sourceof water willbe self-contained, and all houses will collect rain water and purify it. i can improve it by donating alot of my money from touring
